All Aboard! A 1940s Style Wedding Inspiration Shoot In The North West

Natalie says: Our shoot at The East Lancashire Railway was a chance to get some amazing designers and businesses together to shoot in a beautiful and unique location.

This shoot was my baby being the first that I had planned from scratch.  With help from Debbie of Glamour Bridal and Prom in Bolton we brought some fabulous North West suppliers together and I hope it shows!

We all worked together so well on the day.  Our inspiration was the 1940′s and our vision was a classy red carpet bride waiting at the station for her husband.  We wanted the images to ooze glamour and Debbie’s dresses certainly wowed.

We had the best in bridal accessories to chose from by Jane of HF Couture whose designs fit in with the theme so very well. A very big thank you also to Kay from Wrapor for designing and making these stunning bridal wraps especially for the shoot.

The steam train itself became the star of the show and after being told there wouldn’t be one we were pleasantly surprised to see it roll into the station!  Huge thanks to Andy Morris of The East Lancashire Railway in Bury for making the shoot even better and for letting us loose all day on the platform.

Lastly a big thank you to Stephen Redfern Photography  for coming along and taking these truly amazing images.  He was seriously outnumbered by all of us ladies but managed to hold his own!

Well, The Village Hotel held their wedding fayre yesterday (19th Feb) and it was a great turn out, Tower FM did an excellent job of running the event, there was plenty of interest throughout the day and I would just like to thank Jaclyn and Dale and Helen and Matthew for booking me as their photographer on their forthcoming weddings in December 2012 and March 2013.
